Complete the below data to apply for the Roller Furling Headsail, and/or Mainsail In-Mast Roller Furling Credit. Boats must have an inboard engine or saildrive unit to be elibible for in-mast credit. In addition, for the Roller Furling Headsail credit and or the Mainsail in-mast roller furling credit your SA/DSPL value must be 20.0 or less.
SA/DSPL = SA/(DSPL/64)^(2/3). This value will be calculated by the PHRF Committee using dimension data provided by US Sailing!
1. Uses a working roller furling headsail attached to an above deck roller furling system. Roller furling headsail must be tacked above the drum and may be interchangeable with other working roller furling headsails while racing.
2. Uses an OPTIONAL working Roller Furling mainsail, which may have no more than 5 vertical battens and that the roach of the sail does not extend past the backstay, and is furled vertically by rolling in-mast rather than flaking.
